Finding a replacement '70 Javelin front grille that isn't broken is nearly impossible these days. That is until now! We are happy to introduce the world's first reproduction (that we know) of these beautifully reproduced grilles.
Our front grilles are made individually by hand, using fiberglass, resin, and other materials, for an original look and appearance that is also very durable and strong.
Since each unit is made entirely by hand, there may be very small differences and/or imperfections from unit to unit or compared to an original grille. One of the most noteworthy differences is the size of the mesh squares at the back of the grille. Ours are slightly smaller than the original.
The shape and measurements of the grille are made to near factory spec including the mounting tab's height and width, however, some minor adjustments may be needed on your vehicle depending on its condition and fitment differences. PLEASE EXAMINE THE DETAILED PICTURES ON THIS PAGE BEFORE PURCHASING TO MAKE SURE THE QUALITY MEETS THE NEEDS OF YOUR PROJECT. These grilles are made by hand, not a plastic injection mold like the originals so there will be small differences.
INSTALLATION NOTES: Our grilles and grille brackets come with undrilled mounting holes. This is because we have found that each car and each grille align with slight differences. You will need to align, mark, and drill holes in the grill mounting tabs as well as the brackets. See the installation video for installation reference.
The '70 AMX uses a different front grille compared to this '70 Javelin grille. We do not have plans to make the '70 AMX grille at this time. You can easily install this grille on any '70 AMX with a few minor modifications.
