After 50 years of wear and tear, finding a '71 Javelin front grille that isn't broken is nearly impossible. That is until now! We are happy to introduce the world's first reproduction (that we know) of these beautiful grilles.
Our front grilles are made individually by hand, formed by fiberglass, resin, and other materials for an original look and appearance with great durability and strength.
Since each unit is made entirely by hand, there may be very small differences and/or imperfections from unit to unit or compared to an original grille. Each piece is fitted on our ’74 Javelin with factory specs to ensure profit fitment, however, some minor adjustments may be needed on your vehicle depending on its condition and fitment differences. PLEASE EXAMINE THE DETAILED PICTURES ON THIS PAGE BEFORE PURCHASING TO MAKE SURE THE QUALITY MEETS THE NEEDS OF YOUR PROJECT.
INSTALLATION NOTES: Our grilles and grille brackets come with undrilled mounting holes. This is because we have found that each car and each grille align with slight differences. You will need to align, mark, and drill holes in the grill mounting tabs as well as the brackets. See the installation video for installation reference.
The '71 Javelin front grille came with a signature style of two deep "pockets" with silver highlights and a bullseye emblem. The '71-'74 also used the same grille body known as the "tub" but featured a grille screen mounted on the front of it. The tubs on the AMX version were painted all black. (AMX front grille screens coming later in 2024).

VERY SMART MOVE in making these tubs instilled. Because of the great amount of space they fill, considering the age of the vehicles, and the “fit & finish” quality of vehicles as a whole during this era, allowing for fit & adjustment is a smart move, as well as including mounting brackets. You don’t want to put this piece in a bind and being able to custom fit this piece and allow a little “wiggle room” is best under the situation .

The 1971 Javelin Grille Tub is excellent. The mounting brackets along with the hardware made installation very neat. I could not be happier with the service or the product. When it arrived, I was a little concerned as the box it was in had a few punctures from shipping. The way in which this was packed in the box, I believe they could have thrown it off the truck and it would have been ok. Very detailed job of packing. The grille looks fantastic on the car and bring it up to the next level. Thank you for the job you do.
