Protect your grille when leaning under the hood and improve airflow with this AMC Radiator Cover.

Choose between two versions. One is for the 1972 to 1974 Javelin SST. The other one is for the 1971 Javelin SST and the 1971 to 1974 AMX

These covers create a protective shield above the front grille to help protect against damage from those unwanted beer bellies when someone leans into your engine bay. The cover also closes out the section above the grille, preventing airflow loss from the grille and directing the airflow to the radiator to improve cooling. 

Each panel is made from high-strength fiberglass designed to withstand pressure when leaned on so that your grille is better protected. They are easy to install and remove with only 9 screws (included).

The covers are painted black and embossed with American Motors badging for an added touch of AMC pride to your engine bay.

*Airflow tests have not been conducted. Improved airflow is theoretical. Although the covers significantly improve the protection of your grille, this does not make them indestructible. Caution is still recommended.
