The molding is about an 1/8 “ narrower than the OEM molding. You can notice it where it alings to the fender extension moldings.

Slightly shorter, slightly thinner than original part and after much adjustment and tightening it would not fit snug against the very front of the hood.

If you are trying to do a purest restoration you may not like this product since it is obviously better quality than the original. For my money however I think it is great.
