The license plate frame was awesome. There was an issue where the white paint in the center you could see some blue paint under it. I brought it to their attention and they offered to replace it right away.

AMC license plate frame holes won't fit a 1970 AMX.

The AMC Red, White and Blue license plate frame has it's only 2 holes at the top. My 1970 AMX license plate frames on the car, front and rear, have their only 2 holes at the bottom of the plate. It can't work unless I drill holes in either the frame which won't look good or my car which I won't do. Or if I mount it upside down with the lettering upside down. I don't know if this is true with any other AMC models ?

Hi Michael, as we mentioned in our messages to you, it appears that some AMC models had topside fastener holes and some only on the bottom side. We have a fairly quick and easy solution for this!

You will need to drill two 11/32 holes in the plate assembly. We are sending you some clamp nuts that you can use to fasten the plate and frame to the assembly along with some instructions.

We have to order the clamp nuts in so give us several days to get those sent out to you! Going forward, we'll automatically send the clamp nuts with every frame for the others who run into the same issue.
