The Carreplico custom AMX style grille is fabricated by hand with fiberglass and plastic. The design gives a sleek and aggressive look while maintaining some characteristics of the AMX style grille that featured the wide-open center. Each unit is painted with a glossy aluminum finish and black honeycomb mesh.
READ BEFORE PURCHASE: The grille fits on both Javelin and AMX models from 1968 to 1969. Javelin owners will need to purchase our custom brackets to mount. AMX owners are strongly encouraged to use our custom brackets but original AMX brackets can be used with some modifications. Our brackets come with undrilled fastening holes. You will need to measure and drill holes in the appropriate location.
Since each unit is made entirely by hand, there may be very small differences from unit to unit or your original grille. Each piece is fitted on our ’69 Javelin to ensure profit fitment, but some minor adjustments may be needed on your vehicle depending on its condition and fitment difference.

I received the grill and the brackets after being on their waiting list for some time. Overall, I’m pleased with the grill but I will be cleaning up some of the edges that are a little rough. Considering how hard to find and how expensive a stock grill is this is a really nice alternative. I really like the honeycomb center; it looks just a little custom without getting too far away from the stock look. I won’t be installing it until summer but I’m sure it will look great!
